So I'd love to know your recipe if you end up liking it because I'm sure the homemade version is healthier. I also keep a few leftovers frozen.Karenhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15086719828916510651noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7610048593668629476.post-12789721092055559932011-07-20T16:39:24.388-07:002011-07-20T16:39:24.388-07:00Go HERE: http://chubzilla.blogspot.com/2011/01/had...Go HERE: http://chubzilla.blogspot.com/2011/01/had-to-share-recipe_19.html

I did that recipe you wanted to use, but I changed it up a bit and I wrote about what I put in it to make sure it had good flavor. Don't be afraid to play around with spices that you like. ;)

If it's still a NO-WAY-JOSE recipe for you and your man, but you still want to give veggie burgers a go, try this one: http://www.thefarmcafe.com/2010/06/how-to-make-the-farmhouse-veggie-burger/

I also made these. They were featured on Food Network's "Best Thing I Ever Ate: Burgers" edition. We made them and omg...so good. Just don't think you're going to bite into it and get that same cow-meat taste. I've been a veggie for over four years and I still sometimes bite into something and feel let down. Then, I remember how much healthier the veggies I'm eating are and it takes the edge off.Chubby McGeehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01314736525363564330noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7610048593668629476.post-1327581322848846302011-07-20T13:14:31.991-07:002011-07-20T13:14:31.991-07:00I used to be a real scatter brain (I say used to b...I used to be a real scatter brain (I say used to but Chris would probably say I still am) and used to leave things to the last minute as well (ah the days of writing a 12 page paper the night before it was due...good ol nursing school) but since I have become more organized I've found that things are just...easier. I have also found that substituting things I have been craving (ie making home made burgers with 93/7 or extra lean ground beef on whole wheat and oven fries rather than McDonalds) or buying baked potato chips and sticking to the serving size has kept those cravings at bay (although I would have killed Chris and stepped over his body for a cookie a few nights ago!). Look forward to following your blog :)Tarynhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07535526621511420126noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7610048593668629476.post-34553554109120768432011-07-20T11:48:01.069-07:002011-07-20T11:48:01.069-07:00That sounds like an awesome dinner.
